Pro Baseball: Graham H. Godfrey, Sacramento River Cats
Graham H. Godfrey pitched eight innings, striking out two and allowing one earned run Thursday in the Sacramento River Cats's 8-2 loss at the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. Godfrey graduated from Houston Memorial High School.
Godfrey is a 2003 graduate of Memorial High School. He played baseball for the College of Charleston where as a junior (2006) he went 8-2 with a 3.57 ERA in 16 games (15 starts) striking out 101 in 98.1 innings. Godfrey was drafted in the 34th round (1020th overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft by the Toronto Blue Jays. He was born Aug. 9 1984 in Tampa Florida.
