The Houston Police Department reported the following incidents on Feb. 29:
An EMS event was reported at 2:29 p.m. at Bering Drive and Tanglewood Cove St.
An EMS event was reported at 8:08 a.m. at Briarpark Drive and Meadowglen Lane.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 4:54 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Country Place Drive and Fern Drive.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 5:52 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Eagle Vista Drive and Piney Woods Court.
At 8:23 a.m., an EMS event occurred at Enclave Parkway and Westella.
A motor vehicle incident was reported at 3:15 p.m. at Fountain View Drive and Burgoyne Drive.
At 3:09 p.m., an EMS event occurred at Kimberley Lane and Country Place Drive.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 4:14 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to N. Dairy Ashford and North Eldridge Parkway.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 10:14 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to N. Post Oak Road and Katy Freeway Ib.
At 3:36 p.m., an EMS event occurred at Potomac Drive and Valley Forge Drive.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 11:03 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Riverway and Sage Road.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 2:23 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to S. Voss Road and Huntington Cove.
At 3:31 a.m., an EMS event occurred at Village Place Drive and Woodland Park Drive.
An EMS event was reported at 10 a.m. at W. Friar Tuck Lane and Memorial Drive.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 2:48 p.m. The Police Department was dispatched to W. Shady Lane and Westheimer Road.
A call regarding an EMS event was received at 7:27 a.m. The Police Department was dispatched to Woodway Drive and Lazy Hollow Drive.

Dana Parks released
Special to the Chronicle published Feb. 29, 2012Dana Parks was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff‘s Office. Parks is listed as living at 2420 South Voss 310 in Houston (77059). Bond for Mr. Parks was set at $300. He was reportedly arrested on February 28, 2012 on one charge of speeding in a school zone. Steve Williams arrested on charge of assault of a family member
Special to the Chronicle published Feb. 29, 2012Steve Williams was arrested on a charge of assault of a family member on Feb. 29, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. Williams, a 22-year-old black male, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 29 and is facing a MA charge. He resides at 12939 Whittington. Read more...
