Memorial woman, 85, takes first skydiving trip

A resident of a Memorial-area retirement community recently took a jump out of a plane at 10,000 feet.
Leauise Graves, 85, traveled to Brookshire, Texas, on July 16, where she took a 45-minute training course, boarded a Cessna with her instructor and successfully completed what's known as a "tandem-freefall" jump.
According to a press release from the Eagle Trace retirement community, where Graves lives, she also spread some of her late husband's ashes during the jump.
