Race Rally at IKEA raises money for Komen Race for the Cure

The first Race Rally event at IKEA Houston raised $1,000 and registered 60 new racers for the upcoming 22nd annual Komen Houston Race for the Cure on Oct. 6 in Downtown Houston.

Race Rally offered entertainment for all ages with scavenger hunts and a marching band, and customers in pink received a 20 percent off coupon for any item in the store.
x The event was planned by the Houston Affiliate of Susan G. Komen, a foundation designed to increase breast cancer awareness and education.
