Paving delayed at Spring Valley city hall

Recent rains have delayed the paving of the parking lot at the Spring Valley City Hall.
"I expect the parking lot to be completed by September," said Mayor Mike Andrews.
The crews are working now on the south side of the parking lot and should finish that area in about two weeks, if the weather holds up.
The lot will be restriped and repaved with asphalt.
In addition, underground drainage structures will be upgraded to reduce ponding, a problem the city has had during rainstorms.
Those needing to park are asked to use the parking area north of the new park and the parking lot at Grace Community Church.
