Memorial company sues General Electric
General Electric is being sued by a Memorial company over a supply agreement.
Integrated Production Services Inc., located at 11700 Old Katy Road, filed a lawsuit on Dec. 10 in Harris County District Court against GE Energy Oilfield Technology, alleging breach of contract and breach of warranty.
Integrated Production Services says that it entered into a supply agreement contract with GE in June 2008 for multiple units of the Sondex Open Hole U-FLT suite. According to the brief, there were numerous problems with the product, but the defendant failed to honor the contract and warranties.
Integrated Production Services is seeking over $2.2 million in damages, court costs and attorney’s fees. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Daniel Shank.
