HS boys basketball: Taylor takes down Memorial
Taylor defeated Memorial in District 19-5A hoops action on Tuesday.
Taylor won the game 37-35, moving to 9-10 overall and 1-0 in district play. Conner Cella, a junior forward, scored 11 points in the victory.
Taylor will visit Cinco Ranch on Friday at 7 p.m.
Tuesday’s loss dropped Houston Memorial to 9–11 and 0-1 in district games. Brooks Taylor, a junior forward, scored a game-high 13 points in the defeat.
Memorial will host Katy on Friday at 7 p.m.
