HS girls basketball preview: HYCA v. Houston Christian
District TAPPS 3-5A rivals HYCA and Houston Christian will battle in girls high school basketball action on Friday.
HYCA is 6-11 on the season, coming off a 64-39 loss to Tomball Concordia Lutheran on Tuesday.
Kim Paul is averaging 17 points per game to lead her squad in scoring.
HYCA will next visit Kinkaid on Tuesday, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m.
On the season, Houston Christian is 4-2, coming off a 43-32 loss to Episcopal on Tuesday.
Sophomore guard Miranda Rogers is expected to be a big part of the team’s offense in this game.
Houston Christian will next visit St. Pius X on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Friday’s tip-off is slated for 6 p.m.
