HS girls basketball preview: Houston Christian v. Duchesne
District TAPPS 3-5A rivals Houston Christian and Duchesne will battle in girls high school basketball action on Thursday.
On the season, Houston Christian is 4-2, coming off a 43-32 loss to Episcopal on Tuesday.
Sophomore guard Miranda Rogers is expected to be a big part of the team’s offense in this game.
Houston Christian will next host HCYA on Friday at 6 p.m.
This will be Duchesne’s first game of the season.
The team is led by seniors Sarah Flores and Annie Scott.
Duchesne will next take on St. Agnes on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Thursday’s tip-off is slated for 4:30 p.m.
