Westside grad Fred Hinnenkamp hits his season high for HBU
Westside High School grad Fred Hinnenkamp scored a season-high 14 points off the bench, going six-for-nine from the field and hitting a pair of 3-pointers, but Duquesne defeated Houston Baptist 81-64 Saturday.
Hinnenkamp, a senior forward, played at Westside for Coach Chester Smith in 2003-2007. He was team captain his senior year in 2006-2007 after receiving the Most Improved Player award as a sophomore in 2004-2005. He also played for Coach Keith White in AAU basketball for the Houston Hoopstars.
He is the son of Greg and Lori Hinnenkamp.
