Memorial's Rushing to Air Force Academy

Memorial HS senior James Rushing committed to play football for the United States Air Force Academy next year.

The 6-foot, 3-inch, 240 pound defensive end scored 1210 on the SAT and considered offers from Ivy League powers including Columbia, Dartmouth, Harvard and Princeton.

He was an honorable mention all-district selection this season and will join Cy Creek lineman Kyle Bockeloh and Cy Woods quarterback Colton Huntsman as freshmen cadets at Air Force next year.
