HS girls basketball: Second Baptist tops Lutheran South
Second Baptist crushed Lutheran South 55-20 in District TAPPS 4-4A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Second Baptist jumped out to a 24-8 lead and never looked back.
With the win, Second Baptist is now 17-7 on the season and is 2-0 in district play.
Junior Taylor Barnett had a monster game with 32 points.
Second Baptist will next visit Westbury Christian on Friday at 7 p.m.
With the loss, Lutheran South falls to 2-5 and 0-3 in district play.
Chelsy Schield scored 6 points for the losing team.
Lutheran South will next visit Concordia Lutheran Friday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
