HS girls basketball preview: Westside v. Milby

District 20-5A rivals Westside and Milby will meet in girls high school basketball action on Saturday.

Westside is 14-4 on the season and 5-0 in district play. The Wolves are coming off a 66-27 win over Chavez on Wednesday.

Junior Tiffany Davis leads the team in scoring with an average of 16.8 points per game.
 
The Wolves will next host Bellaire on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Milby is 2-5 on the season and 1-3 in district play. The Mighty Buffaloes are coming off a 79-23 loss to Lamar on Wednesday.

Brianna Brass is averaging 14.4 points per game to lead the team in scoring.

The Mighty Buffaloes will next visit Madison on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday’s tip-off is slated for 10:30 a.m.
