HS girls basketball preview: Westside v. Bellaire

Westside hosts Bellaire in District 20-5A hoops action on Tuesday.

The Cardinals defeated Chavez 72-19 Saturday, moving to 14-6 overall and 6-0 in district play.

AJ Alix, a sophomore guard, scores 20.1 points per game to lead Bellaire.

The Cardinals will visit Milby on Saturday after the Westside clash.

Westside beat Milby 96-40 Saturday, rising to 15-4 on the year and 6-0 in district games.

Jade Rogers, a senior, scores 24 points per game to pace the Wolves.

Westside will host Westbury on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
