HS boys basketball: Stratford defeats Montgomery

Stratford defeated Montgomery in District 17-4A hoops action Tuesday.

The Spartans won the game 61-55, moving to 12-11 overall and 5-1 in district play. Grant Lund, a senior guard, scored a game-high 21 points in the victory.

Stratford will host Northbrook on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped Montgomery to 14-15 on the year and 3-3 in district games.
