HS girls basketball: Second Baptist defeats Lutheran North
Second Baptist squeaked by Lutheran North 38-36 in District TAPPS 4-4A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Lutheran North looked as if they might win its first game of the season, leading by four as the team entered the last quarter, but it was not to be.
The win brings Second Baptist to 18-8 on the season and 3-1 in district play.
Taylor Barnett and Megan Milam both scored 11 points for the winning side.
Second Baptist will next host Emery/Weiner on Thursday at 6 p.m.
With the loss, Lutheran North remains winless at 0-6 on the season and 0-3 in district play.
Britini Marburger scored 12 points in the loss.
Lutheran North will next visit Northland Christian on Friday at 7 p.m.
