HS girls basketball: Stratford defeats Northbrook
Stratford destroyed Northbrook 42-19 in District 17-4A high school girls basketball action on Friday.
Northbrook fell behind 18-4 in the first quarter and could never climb out of its hole.
The win ups Stratford to 9-15 on the season and 5-3 in district play.
Hope Wiggins scored a game-high 14 points for the winning side.
Stratford will next host Magnolia on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops Northbrook to 2-15 on the season and 0-7 in district play.
Whitney Bradford scored 10 points in the loss.
Northbrook will next visit West on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
