HS girls basketball: Second Baptist defeats Awty International
Second Baptist destroyed Awty International 64-34 in District TAPPS 4-4A high school girls basketball action on Tuesday.
Awty International fell behind by 21 at the half and never made it much of a game.
The win ups Second Baptist to 20-8 on the season, including 5-1 in district play.
Junior Taylor Barnett had a big game with 30 points for the winning side.
Second Baptist will next host Concordia Lutheran on Friday at 6 p.m.
The loss drops Awty International to 4-8 on the season and 1-5 in district play.
Awty International will next visit Emery/Weiner on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
