HS boys basketball: Memorial defeats Cinco Ranch

Memorial defeated Cinco Ranch in District 19-5A hoops action on Tuesday.

The Mustangs won the game 44-34, moving to 11-15 overall and 3-5 in district play. 

Ryley Caton, a senior guard, scored 10 points in the victory.

Memorial will host Taylor on Friday at 7 p.m.

Tuesday’s loss dropped Cinco Ranch to 14-14 on the year and 3-5 in district games. 

Chris Saiz, a sophomore guard, scored 18 points in the defeat.

The Cougars will host Strake Jesuit on Friday at 7 p.m.
