HS boys basketball: Memorial defeats Taylor

Memorial defeated Taylor in District 19-5A hoops action on Friday.

Memorial won the game 50-42, moving to 12-15 overall and 4-5 in district play. Russell Clark scored 16 points in the victory. Memorial will visit Katy on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Friday’s loss dropped Taylor to 11-15 on the year and 4-5 in district games.  John Starks and Jordan Bryan each scored 11 points in the defeat. Taylor will host Cinco Ranch on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
