HS boys basketball: Second Baptist defeats Concordia Lutheran
Second Baptist defeated Concordia Lutheran in TAPPS 4-4A hoops action on Friday.
The Fighting Eagles won the game 56-44, moving to 15-10 overall and 4-1 in district play. LJ Rose, a junior wing, scored 22 points in the victory.
Second Baptist will visit Katy Pope John XXIII on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Friday’s loss dropped Concordia Lutheran to 12-9 on the year and 1-3 in district games. Hunter Gatewood, a sophomore guard, scored 20 points in the defeat.
Lutheran will host Emery-Weiner on Tuesday at noon.
