HS boys basketball: St. Thomas defeats Houston Christian
St. Thomas defeated Houston Christian in TAPPS 3-5A hoops action on Friday.
St. Thomas won the game 75-56, moving to 15-8 overall and 5-0 in TAPPS play. Christian Sanders, a junior guard, scored 26 points in the victory.
St. Thomas will host Beaumont Kelly Catholic on Friday at noon.
Friday’s loss dropped Houston Christian to 8-12 on the year and 0-3 in TAPPS games. Drew Peters scored 23 points in the defeat.
Houston Christian will host SATCH on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
