HS girls basketball: St. Agnes defeats Kelly Catholic
St. Agnes toppled Kelly Catholic 48-39 in District TAPPS 3-5A high school girls basketball action on Friday.
A 12-8 third quarter sealed the win for St. Agnes.
The win ups St. Agnes to 6-9 on the season and 2-0 in district play.
Amber Cooper scored 13 points for the winning side.
St. Agnes will next visit Incarnate Word on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The loss drops Kelly Catholic to 0-4 on the season and 0-2 in district play.
Keaira Airon scored 16 points in the loss.
Kelly Catholic will next host St. Pius X on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
