Memorial-area firm earns tree care industry award
Embark Services was recently named the winner of the 2010 Professional Communications Award by the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).
The landscaping and arbor care services provider earned the award after launching a new website designed to raise understanding of the arbor industry, as well as inspire arbor stewardship with its clients. This initiative was to allow visitors to deepen their knowledge of the arbor industry and how it is tied to their individual community.
TCIA evaluated each entry on the overall appearance, content quality, adherence to American National Standards Institute and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards, and its success in achieving the company’s marketing and communications goals.
“Embark Services' website features much more information than the average tree care company’s website,” said Amy Tetreault, marketing and public relations coordinator for TCIA. “This website is a valuable resource for consumers looking for tree care information.”
The website also includes a blog and RSS feeds where visitors can go to stay up-to-date on the latest local events that affect the arbor community. Visitors can also access arbor care content and participate through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
