Texas Tech alumni group plans networking luncheon
The Texas Tech Alumni Association (TTAA) Houston networking luncheon is set for July 6 at the Post Oak Grill.
Evelyn Husband Thompson is scheduled as the guest speaker. She is widow to the late astronaut and U.S. Air Force Colonel Rick Husband. Thompson will discuss their time together at Texas Tech University, the Southwest Collection featuring items belonging to Col. Husband, and her "Bring the Shuttle Home" campaign involvement.
The luncheon takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost to attend is $20, and the event is limited to 75 guests. No walk-up seating will be available. To reserve a spot, call Elaine at 713-467-5100 or send an email to elaine.savage@ttu.edu.
