HS Football: Northbrook vs. Milby
Milby hosts Northbrook in high school football action Thursday.
Head Coach Phil Camp and the Milby Buffaloes will be playing their first game of the season. Milby was 1-9 overall last year and 1-6 in district play. Wide receivers Eric White and Sergio Bautista are two of the returning 16 starters to keep an eye on this year for Milby. Following the Northbrook clash, Milby will visit Pasadena next Thursday at 6 p.m. in Pasadena Veterans Stadium. Northbrook and Head Coach Ron Rogers are also playing their first game of the year Thursday. The Raiders went 2-8 on the year and 0-7 in District 17-4A action last season. Wide receiver Ken Jones is a player Northbrook hopes to build around. After playing Milby, Northbrook will host Waltrip next Thursday at Tully Stadium. The Buffaloes and Raiders are set to kick off Thursday at 7 p.m. in Barnett Stadium.
