Jersey Village High grad completes nuclear power training in Navy

Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class William C. Willke recently completed the Navy Nuclear Power Training Unit course.

Willke, a 2005 graduate of Jersey Village High School in Houston, received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security with the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Ballston Spa, N.Y. Upon completion of the course, he was designated a nuclear power operator.

Willke, son of Kimberly D. and David B. Willke of Houston, joined the Navy in October 2009.
