Trinity Classical School gathers donations for 'Operation Christmas Child'

Trinity Classical School is recently gathered donations for their school service project, “Operation Christmas Child.”

The project filled shoeboxes with small, non-perishable gifts, toiletries and school supplies, which are then sent to impoverished children all around the world. More than 100 boxes were packed and prayed over by TCS students.

This is the second year in a row that the school has chosen Operation Christmas Child as its service project, which is a project of Samaritan's Purse, a Christian relief and development organization.

“Samaritan's Purse has a long history of serving and we see a great benefit in training our students to be givers — especially to their own age groups,” said project coordinator Pamela Hamza in a press release. “Our children are active in choosing items to fill the boxes, which we pray will in turn fill the hearts of the ones receiving them. We want our students to learn early about sharing the love of Jesus to everybody, including those they do not know."
