Lawsuit centers on elevator incident in Memorial
A man is suing after, he says, he sustained serious injuries while riding an elevator in the Memorial-area Galleria Mall.
Jorge Argudin filed a lawsuit on Friday, Jan. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Simon Property Group Texas, citing negligence.
Argudin says on Jan. 24, 2011, he injured his lower back while riding an elevator located inside Galleria Mall in Memorial. According to the brief, the defective elevator lurched several times and then stopped working and trapped him for almost 30 minutes.
Argudin is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Norman Straub.
