Hadassah Women of Courage honorees announced

Houston Chapter of Hadassah co-Chairwomen Allison Levine and Melissa Poteet.

The Houston Chapter Hadassah, a Jewish women’s organization, will hold its 2012 Women of Courage luncheon at noon Sunday, Jan. 22.

The event will be held at the Westin Galleria Hotel, 5060 W. Alabama St., Houston.

Two Houston-area women and Methodist Hospital will be recognized at the ceremony for their work in the Jewish community.

Judy Yambra will receive the Woman of Courage Award for her work in the Houston area Jewish community.

Hilary Engel Kamin, a Houston native and third-generation member of Hadassah, will receive the Woman of the Future Award.

In addition, The Methodist Hospital, Houston, will be recognized for its work helping the Hadassah organization in Israel.

Premium seating for the event is $150, and the general fee is $75.

Tables of 10 are $1,000 for special seating and $1,800 for premium seating.
