McConnell and Jones expands audit team

Kristina King is a new member of the audit team at McConnell and Jones LLP.

King is the manager of the Commercial Audit Practice at the firm. She will be in charge of SEC and commercial assurance services group as they work with many companies.

King has more than six years of experience with Big Four and has worked with companies in a number of fields, including oil-field services, retail and distribution. Her specialties are in helping clients with proxy statements and reverse mergers.

"Kings technical expertise, especially as it relates to publicly-traded organizations, enables us to continue to provide the best value to our clients," Edward Hlousek, SEC practice leader, said in a press release.

King received a BBA and master of science in marketing from Texas A&M University. She is a member of the Women's Finance Exchange's Houston chapter.
