Pedestrian strucky by car on Hillcroft dies
A pedestrian died Jan. 17 when he was hit by a car in the 3500 block of Hillcroft, Houston police said.
The 32-year-old man’s identity was being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Institute if Forensic Sciences and notification of next of kin. He was pronounced dead at the scene at about 8:25 p.m.
According to a report by HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sgt. M. Stewart and Officer C. Sartor, the man stepped off a grassy median into the westbound lanes of traffic and was struck by a westbound Toyota Corolla.
The name of the driver was not released.
The investigation is continuing.
