The Parish School to honor Eddie Goldsberry with Golden Oak Award
Eddie Goldsberry will be presented The Parish School’s Golden Oak Award on Saturday, Jan. 28 at its annual gala at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel.
The Golden Oak Award is presented annually in recognition of individuals who exemplify the values of The Parish School of commitment to lifelong education, early identification and treatment of learning differences, and advocating for individualized education to meet the needs of all learners.
Goldsberry has served as a member of The Parish School Board of Directors for seven years, with five years as president.
“Eddie is a great example of a Golden Oak honoree,” said Head of School Margaret Noecker in a press release. “From his commitment to our mission to friend generating in the community, Eddie’s passion for early intervention and individualized education shines through.”
The Parish School, located at 11001 Hammerly Blvd. in Houston, is a private, nonprofit school for children who have language and learning differences and who demonstrate average to above-average learning potential.
