Buffalo Bayou Regatta to celebrate 40th anniversary
The Buffalo Bayou Partnership will celebrate 40 years of racing on Buffalo Bayou on March 10 with the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas.
The Buffalo Bayou Regatta is open to Houstonians ages 12 and older and runs for 15 miles.
The race begins at 9 a.m. at 7700 San Felipe, and finishes at 2 p.m. at Sesquicentennial Park.
Entering the race costs $40 per person before March 1, or $45 after. Those with student or military IDs pay $25.
