Nature sanctuary seeks volunteers
The Houston Audubon Docent Guild and the Houston Audubon Society are searching for volunteers to assist in a variety of ways.
Volunteers are needed to restore habitats in sanctuaries, lead children's nature programs, help visitors at High Island during spring migration, staff festivals, assist in the office and more.
An orientation for prospective volunteers will be from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 25 in the log cabin at the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at 440 Wilchester Blvd., in Houston.
Registration is required. To register, call 713-932-1639, or email jperkins@houstonaudubon.org.
