Police seek serial gas station robbery suspect
Police are asking the public for help identifying the suspect involved in a string of local gas station robberies.
One incident occurred at 7:45 p.m. Jan. 9 at a gas station located in the 11000 block of the Katy Freeway, according to a Houston Police Department news release.
Police say a man entered the store, brandished a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the register.
The suspect, who covered his face with a bandana, got away with cash, a victim's cell phone and a pack of Newport cigarettes, according to the release.
The suspect is described as black with light skin, black hair and brown eyes. He is between the ages of 20 and 25.
