Martial arts competition to be held at Marriott Westchase
The International Chinese Martial Arts Championship will return to Houston Saturday, Feb. 18 through Sunday, Feb. 19 for the second annual Lone Star Championship at the Marriott Westchase.
The tournament marks the kick-off for the 2012 ICMAC competition season.
Registration for competition, seminars and workshops begins at 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17, with seminars and mandatory officials' meetings to follow. Registration opens again at 8 a.m. Feb. 18. Opening ceremonies start at 9:30 a.m. with competition beginning at 10 a.m. sharp. There will be a master's showcase at 7:30 p.m. after the close of competition. Seminars will fill the day on Feb. 19, with time allotted to wrap up unfinished competitions from the day before, if needed.
