Looper, Reed and McGraw lawyers earn tax law certification

Looper, Reed and McGraw attorneys Deidra Wilson Hubenak and David Gair have been certified in tax law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

They are among only four people who passed the tax specialization test in 2011.

The Board of Legal Specialization certifies attorneys in 20 specific areas of law. Board certification helps ensure that the citizens of Texas receive the highest quality legal services.

Hubenak is an attorney and a certified public accountant  in Houston. She also worked in the international tax section of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and the federal tax section of Ernst & Young LLP.

Gair routinely represents clients in civil and criminal tax matters.  His practice involves all aspects of business tax planning, including entity formation, restructuring, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as various aspects of individual tax planning.
