The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Feb. 5 through Feb. 8:

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of theft between $50 and $500, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 25-year-old white male lives on Silber in Houston.

A man was arrested on a charge of felony possession of a weapon on Feb. 6, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 38-year-old black male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 7 and is facing a felony charge. He resides on Whittington Drive.

A woman was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of failure to possess identification and prostitution public offer, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 38-year-old black female lives on Kimberly in Houston.

A Houston woman is facing misdemeanor charges of failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance), driving with an invalid license, failure to produce a driver's license on demand and driving with expired registration after being arrested on Feb. 5, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 23 years old, resides on Eldridge Parkway. She was booked on Feb. 5.

A man was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 on Feb. 5, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 23-year-old white male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 5 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Burgoyne.

A man was arrested on a charge of trespassing on a property or in a building without forcible entry on Feb. 7, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 18-year-old black male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 7 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Threadneedle.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury on Feb. 7, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 21 years old, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Feb. 7 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Oak Parkway.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of indecent exposure, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 63-year-old white male lives on Bering in Houston.
