Spring Valley construction company blamed for worksite injury

A Spring Valley construction company is being sued after an employee’s hand was injured at a job site.

Miguel Velis filed a lawsuit on Feb. 10 in Harris County District Court against Joseph Reynold, doing business as Trinimex Construction in Spring Valley, citing negligence.

Velis says on March 3, 2010, he sustained injuries while employed by the defendant. According to the brief, a co-worker cut his hand with a power saw while the two worked to install a driveway.

Velis is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Loren Klitsas.
