Memorial apartment owner named in trip-and-fall suit
An apartment owner is being sued over claims it failed to offer residents a safe environment in Memorial.
Jonell Chauvin filed a premises liability suit on Feb. 28 in Harris County District Court against The Richdale Management Group.
Chauvin says she fell and broke her right ankle on April 20, 2010, while walking her dogs at the defendant’s apartment complex, Woodlake on the Bayou in Memorial. According to the brief, she tripped over an uneven piece of sidewalk.
Chauvin is seeking damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney David Bryant Jr.
