Memorial dry cleaner blamed for brain damage
A Harris County man is suing over claims he sustained brain injuries as a customer at a Memorial-area dry cleaner.
Yigal Bosch filed a lawsuit on March 6 in Harris County District Court against 3 Park’s Enterprises and Lah Cleaners, citing negligence and gross negligence.
Bosch says on Oct. 23, 2010, he sustained a subdural hematoma, or bleeding in the brain, when he tripped and fell backwards at Lah Cleaners, located at 9027 Westheimer Road.
According to the brief, as he fell backwards, his head struck a sharp metal object and he lost consciousness.
The suit alleges Bosch now suffers from seizures and other health problems and is forced to use a walker because of the accident.
Bosch is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Kenneth Smith.
