Latin Bites offers new happy hour special

Latin Bites Cebiche & Pisco Bar is offering a new happy hour menu from 3-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The Peruvian restaurant is presenting selections such as arepas, which offers three meat choices (pork tenderloin adobado, lamb cilantro stew or shredded beef stew) for $4; conchita a la parmesana, a seared scallop on the shell, au gratin parmesan and mozzarella cheese, butter, herbs and pisco for $4.50; and anticucho, a grilled beef heart skewer with grilled potatoes and Peruvian corn, with spicy rocoto and huacatay sauce for $6.

Happy hour selections also include sandwiches with roasted pork, sweet potato, salsa criolla, rocoto pepper mayonnaise and rocoto huancaina sauce; grilled chicken breast with aji amarillo mayo and sweet pickles; and  Peruvian roasted piquillo peppers, avocado, lettuce tomatoes, bacon, mozzarella cheese and cilantro huancaina sauce. Sandwiches cost $6.

The menu offers other Peruvian selections and new cocktail specials, ranging in price from $3-$5. The happy hour menu is available only at the cebiche bar, Pisco bar or on the patio. Latin Bites is located at 5709 Woodway Drive in Houston.
