Invesco donates computers to MAM

Invesco has donated 18 computers capable of running Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 to Memorial Assistance Ministries Employment Services, giving MAM the ability to upgrade all of its tutorial software to current standards.

The desktops will supply 12 client workstations, one volunteer job coach workstation, three MAM Employment Services staff workstations and two backup drives in case of computer failures.

"We are excited about the donation, which will bring our technology platform much closer to current state-of-the-art," said Bob King, director of employment services, in a news release. "Kudos to our volunteer Marsha Nolte for identifying the opportunity, and to Invesco for making this happen. The resulting upgrade in our Computer Literacy curriculum and the expansion of the size of our lab will mean more MAM clients with job skills and therefore better lives for more MAM families."

MAM Employment Services assists clients in identifying and overcoming obstacles to finding and keeping a steady job. For more information, visit www.mamjobsnetwork.org.
