Strake Jesuit HS grad Beau Faulk sparks Nicholls State in loss to Texas State
Strake Jesuit high school graduate Beau Faulk played well, but Nicholls State fell to Texas State, 7-3, on the college diamond Saturday.
Faulk went 1-for-4 with a run driven in for Nicholls in the loss.
A 2007 graduate of Strake Jesuit High School, Faulk was a four-year letter winner.
As a senior, 2006-2007, he batted .423 with five home runs and 11 doubles to earn first-team all-district honors.
Faulk was also named to the Houston area high school all-star team.
As a junior, 2005-2006, he also earned first-team all-district recognition.
The son of Mark and Willie Faulk, he is a business administration major.
