The Regis School celebrates Mother's Day
The Regis School celebrated Mother's Day by holding an "Oscar" ceremony.
Each boy in the pre-kindergarten class presented his mother with a golden statue award.
Categories included "Best Carosel Rider," "Best Toy Kitchen," "Best Snuggler" and "Best Swing Pusher."
Mothers and sons arrived at the event by walking the red carpet.
Fifth-grade Big Brothers played the role of the paparazzi, taking photographs and asking for autographs.
All mothers were also presented with jewel-studded necklaces made by the young boys.
"I was thrilled to be nominated in the 'Best Soccer Player' category," one mom stated. "And even more thrilled to be presented with the award by my son."
