Spring Woods High speech/debate team going to nationals
The Spring Woods High School speech and debate team recently qualified eight students from Spring Branch ISD to compete at the National Forensic League's National Tournament in June, in Indianapolis.
The team also earned three different sweepstakes, including first place for Congressional Debate, first place for Speech Events and first place overall with the most wins.
The students who will be competing are Kelsey Cadavid, Isaiah Rodriguez, Cade Bundrick, Chris Rice, Josh Jimenez, Brianna Bonilla, Waaris Mohammad and Leslie Cavazos.
