Houston's own Cornelius Nursery first opened in 1938 and has remained a  favorite source of beautiful plants and landscape elements since then.  The nursery moved and rebuilt several times, and in 1999, was purchased by Calloway's Nursery. The two Houston locations (Voss Road and North Dairy Ashford) both maintain the venerable and cherished "Cornelius" name and still enjoy a reputation for spacious store environments that are beautiful, educational and a joy to patronize.
