Aaron Peters has been named the valedictorian of St. Mark Lutheran School's 2012 class.
Peters participated in Academic Quest in fifth through eighth grade and placed first in Bible in 2012. Among his accomplishments are achieving high honor roll each of the past four years, participating in Bible Bowl, Private School Interscholastic Association and earning the President's Education Award.
Along with soccer, his favorite activities include Boy Scouts, volunteering at his church during Vacation Bible School and Parents’ Night Out throughout the year. An avid clarinet player, Peters has become an important part of the St. Mark Cougar band and earned a place in the Houston Area Lutheran School’s Junior High Honor Band in both 2011 and 2012. He plans to attend Stratford High School. His plans for summer vacation include a cruise to Alaska, going ice fishing, volunteering at church events and guitar lessons.
