The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of May 27 - 30:

A Houston woman is facing a state felony charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle after being arrested on May 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 23, resides in S. Gessner Dr. She was booked on May 28.

A Houston man was arrested and charged with driving with expired registration and failure or refusal to pay toll on May 28, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 35, was booked at the Harris County Jail on May 28 and is facing class C misdemeanor charges. He resides in Glenchester.

A Houston man is facing a class a misdemeanor charge of using false identification or a false driver's license after being arrested on May 28, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 54, resides in Gessner #400. He was booked on May 29.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a 3rd degree felony charge of assault of a family or household member (impeding breath), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 36-year-old white male lives in Sandringham in Houston.

A Houston woman was arrested and charged with possession of a penalty group 1 controlled substance (1 to 4 grams) and failure to possess identification on May 29, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman was booked at the Harris County Jail on May 29 and is facing 3rd degree felony class B misdemeanor charges. She resides in Eldridge Pkwy.

A man was arrested on a charge of injury to a child on May 29, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 29-year-old white male was booked at the Harris County Jail on May 29 and is facing and is facing a 3rd degree felony charge. He resides in Fountian View D.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a class a misdemeanor charge of theft, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 18-year-old black male lives in Southlake #4402 in Houston.

A Houston woman is facing a state felony charge of theft between $1,500 and $20,000 after being arrested on May 30, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 28, resides in Bateswood Drive. She was booked on May 30.
